DC Water has awarded to Morcom a contract to install a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to serve the 6 miles of tunnels that exist under its “Blue Plains” Water Treatment Plant in Washington D.C. The Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant is the largest advanced wastewater treatment plant in the world, with a capacity of 370 million gallons per day (MGD), a peak capacity of 1.076 billion gallons per day and covering 150 acres. The project was completed during FY 2014.
